Nancy's Bullet Points

Apparently she has more clout that I thought--Both members of Congress such as Schauer and the President sound like they have been programmed by the same guy. They could drop their scripts on the floor, pick up each other's and never miss a beat.

The WKHM Town Hall half hour this morning was more satisfactory than the pseudo phone call/town hall last evening. At least the questions were more astute, but the guy just can't answer a yes or no question. Example:

Would you formulate a poll and distribute questions by internet, mail, phone or any other method and then commit yourself to voting as your constituents ask? After a very convoluted description as to giving enough information (which he could do according to the questioner) and talking about polling in general he just couldn't say yes or no, he was just stuck at the method of getting the opinion.

Any time the question didn't fit his mindset it became a "myth," "misinformation," or off topic. And by the way, I'm told the LA Times blog had a web ad for "volunteers" to be paid $10 to $15 an hour to help Obomacare get good reporting from Town Hall meetings by the Fund for the Public Interest.

I hope all the folks talking about falling support polls aren't just whistling past the graveyard. It's a long way down when your expectations exceed reality.

Received an email yesterday alerting us to the www.USdebtclock.org. Haven't looked at it in quite awhile--if you haven't looked lately, you might want to check it out.

This is the end of County Fair week in Jackson which reminded me to dig around for an interview I did last year about Brad's Lunch Bunch. I had lost it when I changed to Comcast and found it recently. Now if I can get it on YouTube I think you'll find it a good story.

Have a good weekend-
God bless...........
